Gorilla News - April 2023

After a very busy winter, the arrival of spring has provided a brief opportunity to pause and take a collective breath.

We finished up with the Parkland Athletic Club (PAC) in early March as teams headed into the playoffs. We are looking forward to having a  number of PAC Athletes join our community for the hockey off-season. Stay tuned to social media for some exciting new programming options for the 2023 hockey off-season.

Parkland Student Athlete Academy Sport Performance program remains strong with 10 Student Athletes taking part with the High School Crew and 30+ Student Athletes registered with the Jr. Crew. 

Our CFL crew is chopping at the bite as the start of training camp is just around the corner.

What Have We Been Doing?

  • Parkland Student Athlete Academy Basketball Student Athletes joined our Jr. Sport Performance Crew in February.
  • Brad has been hard at work developing a new Goalie training stream for the 2023 hockey off-season.
  • Rob has been working on developing a new corporate fitness program for employees at SMS Equipment based in Acheson. 
  • Collaborating with Soccer Elite Academy to incorporate the E.A.T.S. Method into the preparations for their 2009 Girls Team heading to Spain this summer.
  • Added a new Athlete Profile section to our website(https://www.eliteathletetrainingsystems.com/athletes).
  • Created a new workspace/office space at the Gorilla Compound for our team; The Penthouse. 

What’s Next?

  • We will welcome back many of our Junior hockey athletes in late April early May.
  • The Spruce Grove Cougars Bantam Football team will kick off E.A.T.S Team Training in May.
  • Limited Edition Gorilla Gear will be revealed in May.
